The garden at Via De Castillia 28 is an urban public space inaugurated in 2008, developed through a process of listening and dialogue with residents. It was one of the first projects carried out by Fondazione Riccardo Catella, shortly after the restoration of its headquarters, and represents a tangible example of participatory urban regeneration. Designed to respond to the needs of the community, it is a place where nature, social interaction, and shared care come together.

THE GARDEN
Thanks to an agreement with the Municipality of Milan, since 2008 the Foundation has been responsible for the maintenance, safety, and cleaning of the area, ensuring a well-kept, welcoming environment open to everyone.
Designed to meet the real needs of the local community, the garden offers a protected, accessible, and well-maintained green space that encourages social interaction, play, and everyday well-being. Families, children, seniors, and workers use the garden daily, finding a place for relaxation and sharing in the heart of the neighborhood.
The garden reflects the Foundation’s approach to the care of public space: a people-centered model that promotes a more inclusive, sustainable city attentive to quality of life.
The garden at Via De Castillia 28 is a public space open to all, where it is possible to celebrate birthdays in accordance with the rules of use. No reservation is required; visitors are encouraged to behave responsibly so that the area remains accessible and welcoming for the entire community.

RULES
Our four-legged friends are welcome. Please keep dogs on a leash at all times for everyone’s safety.
A clean park is more enjoyable for everyone! Please use the waste bins and help us take care of this space.
To make the garden a healthier place for both adults and children, smoking is not permitted.
This garden is a place for relaxation. For this reason, fires and barbecues are not allowed.
Access with vehicles is restricted to authorized personnel only.
Skateboards and bicycles are welcome! Please walk them near play areas or benches and use them responsibly along the pathways.
The fountain is a shared play area. To keep it functioning properly, please avoid blocking basins and water jets with stones or soil.
Water used in the water play features is not suitable for drinking. If you are thirsty, please use the green drinking fountains.
