Città Generative (Generative Cities)
Città Generative (Generative Cities)
Città Generative (Generative Cities) is a study and research program dedicated to urban transformation, developed in collaboration with universities, research centres, associations, and public institutions. It is a path to rethink urban life and shape new visions of open and inclusive communities, where research and participation become driving forces for the future.
NOI. Partecipare è condividere
On October 15, 2025, as part of the 20th anniversary of Fondazione Riccardo Catella, over 70 non-profit organizations gathered for a day of discussion and collaborative planning dedicated to the future of cities. The main objective was to identify strategic priorities for creating urban environments that foster inclusive, resilient, and engaged communities.
From the working groups, a shared vision emerged on the key issues currently shaping civil society:
- inclusion of marginalized groups, with a focus on disability and gender equality
- the central role of children and younger generations, recognized as drivers of change and key actors in addressing school dropout rates
- cultural innovation as a strategic lever to activate communities and strengthen processes of participation and collective growth.
