BAM Summer Festival

On the summer solstice, Fondazione Riccardo Catella celebrates cultural diversity through music, a universal language that, according to Khalil Gibran, unites souls.

In this spirit, BAM – Biblioteca degli Alberi Milano, a project by Fondazione Riccardo Catella, stands out as the first Italian organisation to take part in Refugee Week, an important global event dedicated to the creativity of people seeking refuge.

The BAM Summer Festival connects international artists with renowned solidarity organisations such as UNHCR, EMERGENCY, Progetto Arca and Caritas Ambrosiana. The event offers a wide range of inclusive activities for all audiences, including concerts of different genres, circle singing, animated readings, talks and DJ sets. This celebration is an opportunity to place diversity and fragility at the heart of artistic production, promoting intercultural and inclusive dialogue through art and music.
