BAM Summer Festival

On the occasion of the conclusion of the Milano Cortina 2026 Cultural Olympiad and World Music Day, BAM – Biblioteca degli Alberi Milano celebrates the final event of BAM FAIR PLAY with a great festival dedicated to music, culture and participation.

For an entire day, the park and the setting of Palazzo Lombardia will welcome the musical bands of the 12 Lombardy provinces, together with youth bands, street bands, marching bands and flag-waving groups, bringing to life a rich programme of performances that celebrates the cultural and musical heritage of the region’s territories.

The initiative was created with the aim of strengthening collaboration among the main band associations in Lombardy and enhancing the traditions, identities and cultural excellence that characterise the different provinces of the region.

The event programme is as follows:

10:00 a.m. – Banda 4 Giugno 1859 Magenta (MI)

11:00 a.m. – Cornfield Music Band Orchestra Palestro (PV)

12:00 p.m. – Banda Cittadina di Castel Goffredo (MN)

3:00 p.m. – Corpo Bandistico “Giovanni Orsomando” di Casalpusterlengo (LO)

3:00 p.m. – BAM Workshop Kids: Let’s play with rhythm with Corpo Musicale S. Cecilia di Gavirate (VA)

4:00 p.m. – Musica Cittadina di Chiavenna (SO)

5:00 p.m. – Corpo Bandistico “Giuseppe Verdi” Ombriano and Banda Santa Cecilia Trescore Cremasco (CR)

5:00 p.m. – BAM Workshop Teens and Adults: Drum Circle with Corpo Musicale S. Cecilia di Gavirate (VA)

6:00 p.m. – Gruppo Ottoni Giovanile del Politecnico delle Arti di Bergamo (BG)

6:30 p.m. – Triuggio Marching Band (MB)

7:30 p.m. – Corpo Musicale “La Serenza” Figino Serenza (CO)

8:30 p.m. – Corpo Musicale Robbiatese Robbiate and Corpo Musicale “Alessandro Pirovano” di Cernusco Lombardone (LC)

9:30 p.m. – Orchestra Fiati di Valle Camonica (BS)

During the grand final concert, institutional greetings will be given by Anna Scavuzzo, Deputy Mayor of Milan; Francesca Caruso, Councillor for Culture of Regione Lombardia; Elena Vasco, Secretary General of the Milan Monza Brianza Lodi Chamber of Commerce; Enrico Scarabelli, President of the Permanent Table of Italian Band Federations; Francesca Colombo, General Cultural Manager of BAM – Biblioteca degli Alberi; and Kelly Russell Catella, General Manager of Fondazione Riccardo Catella.
