BOOK PRESENTATION “ALTRO PARLARE” BY BRUNO CORÀ

The Riccardo Catella Foundation and the Bassiri Foundation are pleased to invite you to the book presentation of “Altro Parlare,” written by Bruno Corà and published by FB Editors. The event will take place on Wednesday, April 12th at 6:00 PM.

“Altro Parlare,” published by FB Editors, features a selection of 62 texts for 40 artists in a 176-page paperback format. These compositions, presented in the form of poetry, stand apart from the sector-specific art criticism and academic writing that Corà has extensively undertaken. Instead, they delve into realms where it is possible to approach the work and thoughts of the artists with a wholly personal language and approach.

The compositions are dedicated to the work of over forty artists, including Marco Bagnoli, Bizhan Bassiri, Joseph Beuys, Daniel Buren, Alberto Burri, Pier Paolo Calzolari, Enrico Castellani, Enzo Cucchi, Emilio Isgrò, Felice Levini, Sol LeWitt, Anish Kapoor, Jannis Kounellis, Mario Merz, Marisa Merz, Nuvolo, Mimmo Paladino, Giulio Paolini, Vettor Pisani, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Jaume Plensa, Renato Ranaldi, Giovanni Rizzoli, Jack Sal, Remo Salvadori, Giuseppe Spagnulo, Ettore Spalletti, and Ben Vautier.

The event will commence with the presentation of the video artwork “Il bisonte” (1997, 7′) by Bizhan Bassiri, featuring music by Stefano Taglietti.

The following individuals will be speaking during the evening:

  • Alida Forte Catella, Vice President of the Riccardo Catella Foundation
