BAM Circus: The Marvels at the Park Festival

BAM Circus: The Marvels at the Park Festival

from 26 May to 28 May

Fondazione Riccardo Catella is pleased to announce the return of BAMCircus to the Biblioteca degli Alberi lawns with a second edition full of new events, three days of festival dictated by wonder and amazement!

Opening the 2023 edition of BAMCircus on Friday, 26 May, will be an exceptional event that will keep everyone holding their breath: Andrea Loreni, the only Italian tight-rope walker specialised in performances at great heights, will in fact undertake the first funambolist crossing ever executed in Milan, walking at a height of approximately 140 metres along a 205-metre-long wire from the iconic and award-winning Vertical Forest to the UniCredit Tower.

Appointments not to miss include the performances of the Yoann Bourgeois Art Company, which for BAMCircus will present “Approach 18 stairs / Touch” for the first time in Italy and the second world repeat performance. It is a combination of dance, acrobatics and performance with a high theatrical impact.

Amazing theatrical performances will enliven the park both on Saturday evening – with the Spanish Gruppo Puja! that brings a performance dedicated to the Little Prince – and to close Sunday with a surprise grand finale!

There will be many collaborations, inspirations, international companies, previews, moments of fun, changes of perspetive, possibilities and interpretations. We await you so you can enjoy your BAMCircus!
