Ratanà restaurant
Ratanà restaurant is located on the ground floor of the building where Fondazione Riccardo Catella is located itself. The name of the restaurant is inspired by the figure of Don Giuseppe Gervasini, called el pret de Ratanà, priest-healer who lived in the first half of the twentieth century. A controversial and difficult figure to be deciphered, that remains in the memory of thousands of Milanese like a religious who treated with herbs grown in the garden, grumpy and coarse, but also always available to everyone’s needs. Ratanà wants to recover the solid tradition of the Milanese and Lombard cuisine, reinterpreting it following values and needs of contemporary cooking.
