We celebrate the summer solstice with Music! A sonic wave inspired by the music and dances typical of the Mediterranean to rediscover the strength of folk roots and the power of community traditions.

A day filled with workshops for children, adults, and families, participatory activities, traditional dances, and musical moments featuring young talents engaging the audience in a crescendo of sound that culminates in a festive atmosphere with the grand concert by the Italian Folk Orchestra directed by Ambrogio Sparagna.

To embellish the grand stage of the final concert, the two sustainable and site-specific installations by Vittorio Palumbo for BAM reinterpret the tradition and ritual of the illuminations of patronal festivals and religious traditions of Southern Italy. They are named Komorebi and Fioriture and are part of the “Design for Planet” collection. Art, design, and nature come together again in public spaces.
