BACK TO THE CITY CONCERT – VI EDITION

Fondazione Riccardo Catella is pleased to announce the sixth edition of the Back to the City Concert – Great classical music in the park!

From Milan to the world: the innovations of the sixth Back to the City Concert are transformative, just like BAM, with the desire to involve more and more people in our free open-air cultural ecosystem.

The Camerata Salzburg with violinist Veronika Eberle will perform on the lawns of the Biblioteca degli Alberi, offering an unforgettable open-air concert to welcome everyone back from the summer holidays, as per BAM’s tradition. After five editions with the most renowned Italian orchestras, the format is renewed and features an international orchestra with the immortal music of W. A. Mozart and a program of dedicated activities.

There will be various musical moments throughout the day and in the preceding days, all inspired by Mozart: a step-by-step music education journey for children and adults; a large participatory musical action that will bring a large group of young musicians to the park to play Mozart’s music together, showcasing the talent of the youngest; a sound dialogue between classical and jazz on the composer’s works; and a talk to deepen our passion for the magic of the grand concert.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Symphony No. 40 in G minor, K 550

  • Molto allegro (G minor)
  • Andante (E-flat major)
  • Minuet and Trio. Allegretto (G minor)
  • Allegro assai (G minor)

With Camerata Salzburg, Veronika Eberle, violin, and Alexander Sitkovetsky, violin and musical direction.
